While it may be a small project, it is an important one. TES’s diligence is consistent throughout all projects, regardless of size or location.

The new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert saw an expansion from 350 sq. ft. to 4,000 sq. ft. The new space accommodates up to 11 medically fragile babies and their families, with Prince Albert being the 3rd largest high-risk maternal care site in Saskatchewan. On the recommendation of the Architect, TES was hired as the Commissioning Provider for this project to ensure the mechanical systems and the controls were both statically (pre-functionally) and functionally tested.
Numerous issues persisted throughout testing, resulting in repeated site visits to confirm deficiencies had been addressed. TES ensured that the systems functioned as per the design prior to the NICU becoming staffed and occupied. The last thing needed is a poorly functioning space, when meeting such an important need.
